Kevin give me good advice. I explained that I needed one with more volume (especially when playing flute in the church with the organist and drummer). He recommended two flutes to me. the first one turned out not quite for me. I posted it back to him. He immediately sent the second flute, a Pearl, which was just right.

My experience of dealing with Kevin from London flutes was excellent. Kevin is incredibly knowledgable and passionate about flutes, and speaking to him was very informative. He helped me make up my own mind about which flute to buy and I ended up by buying two flutes and sending one back, keeping the one I preferred. The returns process was easy and Kevin let me know that he’d received the flute and when the money had been refunded, though it took a few days to clear. I’m delighted with my purchase from London flutes.

I contacted London Flutes about an alto flute I was interested in, not being sure it was the right one for me. Kevin was most helpful, answering all my questions very patiently and advising me on alternatives (not from his stock) which might also have suited my needs. After several emails back and forth, and a phone conversation, I bought his instrument, safe in the knowledge that I could try it and return it if I didn't like it. In the end I was very pleased with it and it completely lived up to what I expected from the description and what I'd been told.

I just took delivery of a Yamaha 271 open-hole flute, and found it to be perfect for me. I'm a saxophonist, and had struggled with previous flutes I'd owned. A flautist friend recommended this particular model, and also London Flutes. I'm certainly not disappointed, this thing sings in comparison to other flutes I've had.

I’ve had my eye on the Yamaha flute I’ve just purchased for some time. I had one or two questions to ask about how and when it would be delivered and the tone of the instrument, as it was quite an upgrade for me.
My email was answered really promptly and once I had purchased the flute Kevin very soon let me know when it would arrive. It arrived when he said it would, two days later, carefully packaged.
I’m delighted with my purchase. It sounds beautiful and is in exactly the condition as advertised. Thank you very much!

I recently purchased a Sankyo Prima Etude flute from London Flutes which arrived today in immaculate pristine condition, not a single mark or scratch on the flute. It plays exceptionally well and has a lovely beautiful tone.
Communication from London Flutes was excellent, Kevin, the owner phoned me about the flute I'd ordered on-line and then emailed me with updates on the expected delivery, which was much quicker than expected.
I found Kevin to be a knowledgeable, helpful and friendly guy and I really appreciated his call

Just purchased a lovely Yamaha piccolo from London Flutes - Kevin was very helpful in answering all of my questions, listening to what I wanted, and in recommending a piccolo that would be suitable. He has been quick to respond to any and all queries, and the instrument itself is exactly as described and in great condition.The purchase and delivery (to Ireland) were straightforward and efficient, too.

I'm thrilled with the pre-owned piccolo I bought from London Flutes. I placed my order in the afternoon and it arrived at my home in Scotland the next morning, in pristine condition and perfectly set up. Great comms too!

I am so glad I found London Flutes. I needed to get a new flute as I wasn't getting on with my current one. London Flutes had exactly what I wanted at a price I could afford. The flute was my preferred brand, about two years old, in very good condition and £800 cheaper than a new one. Kevin was very accommodating in sending the flute on a day that I knew I would be at home the next day to receive it. I immediately gave it a blow and it felt perfect for me. At my next lesson my teacher tried it out and was impressed. We then indulged ourselves in some improv and when we finished she told me my new flute was the flute for me as I was playing a lot more freely and hitting all my third register notes with confidence. This was something I had struggled with with my previous flute and was the reason I wanted a new one.
A few weeks later I became aware of an issue. I contacted Kevin, he replied immediately and told me to return the flute to him so he could check it and repair whatever was wrong. He reassured me it was something simple. We agreed a date for me to return the flute and 24 hours after I had posted it he emailed me to let me know what the problem was, that he had fixed it and to check when I would be home to receive it so he knew the best day to post it back. He refunded me the cost of the Special Delivery postage for getting it to him.

Kevin was brilliant, so helpful and knowledgeable. I was a bit apprehensive about buying a flute as I know nothing about flutes. My daughter bizarrely, I say bizarrely as she is 47 and has never played before, wanted to learn. As a surprise for her birthday I contacted London flutes. Kevin guided me to choose something suitable for an adult learner and in the right price range. The flute arrived promptly and well packaged. It is too early to tell if my daughter well be the next Jeanne Baxtresser but if she does I can thank Kevin!

I wanted to buy a Pearl Elegante flute but I was worried about spending so much money on a flute that I hadn’t seen or played. I spoke to Kevin and he was really helpful and not at all pushy. He said that I could try the flute for a week and if I didn’t like it I could return it for a full refund.
The flute arrived and it is lovely. It sounds beautiful and is in great condition. I’m really happy with my purchase and would recommend London Flutes.
