OWNER - Kevin Jones
London's premier used flute specialist.
London Flutes is an established online musical instrument shop offering high quality used flutes and piccolos for sale. For over 18 years we have been sourcing flutes and piccolos from around the world, restoring them and passing them on to new owners.
Because we are online, our prices cannot be beaten and we pride ourselves on the superb quality and condition of our instruments. Drop me a line to discuss what you are looking for and we will be glad to help!
We specialise in all modern makes, including Muramatsu, Altus, Yamaha, Hammig, Sankyo, Brannen, Burkart, Arista, Mateki, Miyazawa, Pearl, Powell and Altus. We have also sold Wessell, Nagahara, Almeida, Rudall Rose Carte, Braun, Albert Cooper, Ewen Mcdougall, Jack Moore, Louis Lot, Bonneville, Flutemakers Guild, Lehner, Reiner and many more.
For professional players or advanced students, who already have a specific custom flute set-up in mind, we can help find the exact specification. Buying a second-hand flute can be a smart move allowing for a better upgrade at a fraction of the cost of a new flute.
All musicians need a quality hands-on approach to woodwind repair and maintenance. Student flute servicing and repairs can be carried out by myself in London (Please contact me for details). Professional flute repairs are carried out by Steve Shaw at Cheshire Woodwind Ltd.
If you have a used flute or used piccolo for sale and would like some help or advice, please do get in touch. We can also look at purchasing your flute/piccolo. Standard flat rate commission charged is 15% of sale price.
Lastly, do not neglect insuring your instrument. I have heard so many stories of instruments being lost, stolen or damaged and the owner left to bear the cost.
As introducers for specialist instrument insurers Newmoon Insurance Services Ltd, London Flutes have negotiated special discounts for new policyholders using one of the following voucher codes:
- If your instrument is valued at £1500 or less, use code LF1M3 for one month free cover, via the Natural policy.
- For instruments values above £1500, use code LF12411 under the Harmonic policy to get 12 months’ insurance for the price of 11.
