                                                                                                                ‘PERFECT STUDENT UPGRADE’

The Yamaha YFL-471 Allegro solid silver flute is based on the current 471 silver model. It has the same specification with open-holes, offset G and split E, however the headjoint inner tube and lip plate is solid gold plated. This gives a warmer sound to an already solid silver flute, perfect for those with a silver allergy. It is therefore very hard to find and a superb purchase for a student wanting the sound of a high specification professional model without the high price tag. The headjoint is the CY cut which is responsive and easy to blow through the registers.

This particular flute in superb condition with no dents and minor marks and has been fully overhauled and pads upgraded to new Pisoni Lucien Deluxe. It also has the benefit of a B-footjoint, giving an extra tone in the scale and added weight to the sound.

The 471 is two solid steps up from the 211 student model and whilst keeping the same ease of play, offers the student a much richer quality of sound. This model takes that even further with open-holes (can be plugged whilst learning) and having the B footjoint is also an added bonus, giving the player more range in their pieces. Open holes correct hand posture and get students ready for professional models later, they offer a clearer sound with more skill options and the earlier the student gets used to playing with an open-hole flute the easier it will be. This is a perfect flute for a student coming up to grade 5 level and above and will easily take them through Grade 8 and on to college level.
