BEAUTIFUL ALTUS A807 CLOSED HOLE FLUTE WITH SOLID SILVER LIP/RISER, OFFSET G, SPLIT E AND C-FOOT IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.
Altus flutes are renowned for being of the highest quality and Altus been hand crafting flutes for over 25 years. The mechanism and style is based on the French maker Louis Lot with seamed tube. All Altus flutes have a beautifully crisp and easy sound in the high registers and benefit from lush, warm tones in the lower registers. Their sound is unique and coveted by some of the best players in the world. The Altus A807 closed hole flute model has the solid silver lip and riser and silver plated body and mechanism. The solid silver lip plate and riser enhances the sound quality allowing players much more tonal expression. The embouchure is precise and immediate, particularly good for the upper registers and is perfect for those students moving away from a student model.
This particular example has closed holes, offset G, split E and C-Foot. The condition is excellent with no dents, light marks and used pads, ready to play. We have fully stripped, cleaned and serviced the mechanism. The pads are used but well seated and have plenty of life and so we have not changed them. It comes with the Altus hard case and an older Altus leather soft case providing extra protection.
