BEAUTIFUL JUAN ARISTA SOLID SILVER HEADJOINT WITH 14K GOLD RISER IN SUPERB CONDITION.
Over thirty years ago the Arista family established a small flutemaking workshop in Boston, Massachusetts. In time, the brothers entered into the craft, each having mastered all aspects of mechanical fabrication and aesthetic detail. Juan Arista is a master flutemaker and his headjoints are played by well known soloists, in major orchestras all around the world. There are few headjoints made nowadays which can equal, both in strength and beauty, the Arista headjoints.
This particular headjoint is the Juan Arista solid silver headjoint with 14K gold riser. The gold gives an extra depth of colour and the head has a full rich sound. The diameter of the tenon is 19.5mm and easily fits Muramatsu and Brannen as I have tried on both. As with all headjoints, a slight adjustment may be required to fit any flute but this is an easy thing for any repairer to do.
