BEAUTIFUL MIYAZAWA ATELIER II SOLID SILVER CLOSED HOLE FLUTE WITH OFFSET G, SPLIT E, SILVER PLATED KEYWORK AND C-FOOT IN SUPERB CONDITION.
This is the Miyazawa Atelier II solid silver closed hole flute model which closely matches the PA-402 model. It is generally sold direct to the Japanese market from the factory and so it is rare to find them over here and it is not to be confused with the European Miyazawa Atelier, which is their alto model.
The Miyazawa Atelier II flute is a superbly constructed handmade model, the body is sterling silver throughout and the keys are nickel-silver, silver-plated. The headjoint is the very popular MZ-A (previously MZ-6) which gives a faster airspeed, a relaxed embouchure offering a flexible and a responsive blow, and a lovely warm sound throughout the registers. These are superb instruments are perfect for professional wind doublers and advanced students.
This particular flute is in beautiful condition with no marks. It is offered with used pads with plenty of life, it has been fully serviced and cleaned and comes with the Miyazawa hardcase. This is a lot of flute for the money and I thoroughly recommend it. Please contact me for details.
