Muramatsu flutes stand in a class of their own and are some of the most sought-after flutes in the world. The sound is rich and lush and allows a wide range of tonal colour. This Muramatsu AD solid silver open hole flute was the professional model made from 1981 until the mid 1990’s. It has since been replaced with the current DS model in 2003. At the time it was one of the top flutes that Muramatsu offered and It features a solid silver head, body, tube and keys.
This particular flute has been completely overhauled with new pads (Pisoni Lucien Deluxe) and corks and the silver hand polished. There are no dents and light scratches only and it plays superbly with a rich and full sound throughout the registers.
