Pearl PF-695RBE Dolce Flute with an Altus (.958) Solid Silver head, Open Holes, Silver Plated body, C# Trill, D# Roller and B-footjoint

The Pearl PF-695RBE Dolce flute is is a superbly built intermediate flute. Pearl are well known for their craftsmanship and ingenuity. The foundation of every Pearl flute is a patented Pinless construction, which eliminates the problems of traditional flute construction – protruding needles that snag clothing and give easy entry to perspiration and body acids causing corrosion and binding keys. Besides this unique pinless construction, Pearl flutes have additional bridge mechanisms that add strength to the entire mechanism.
The PF-695 Dolce model has a silver plated body and keys and a solid silver headjoint. This particular flute has some notable upgrades; a C# trill key, a D# roller and a B footjoint. The original Pearl headjoint has been replaced with a professional Altus Britannia higher purity silver (0.958) headjoint. This is the Classic or ‘S’ cut which provides vibrant warmth with excellent projection. Its pure tonal center allows the artist great flexibility with an infinite color palette. With this added headjoint it changes the sound to one of an Altus flute and primarily the Altus A907RBE. The headjoint is the ‘voice’ of the flute and therefore the sound is unique to the make and cut of the headjoint, in this case Altus. The mechanism of the Pearl body is superb and compliments this marriage of the two beautifully, giving a high quality, advanced student model.

This flute is a perfect upgrade for any student working through grade 5 and above and will comfortably take them through their advanced grades and onwards to college.
