For students looking to start playing the flute it is important to benefit from a well made instrument. The Yamaha student range been the most recommended student flute for over 40 years. The Yamaha YFL-211s flute is the best starting flute for students. It features a nickel silver, silver plated headjoint, silver plated body and footjoint which gives a lovely warm sound and allows a student an excellent range of tonal colour. There are closed-holes, offset G and the split E mechanism that helps players with pitch. The current model retails for £500 and so this represents superb value.
This particular flute would have originally been made in the 1990’s and has been very carefully looked after and cherished. It has been fully serviced (£90 saving) which includes full disassembly, oiling, cleaning and adjusting and is offered in excellent used condition. There are no dents, very light marks and it plays very well throughout the registers. This flute comes with the hard carrycase case and cleaning rod.
