‘Yamaha 311 – The perfect Step-Up flute’
For students looking to move up to a flute that will take them through to Grade 8, it is important firstly to benefit from solid silver and the richness of tone it offers. Yamaha have been making flutes since the early 1970’s and remain the most popular make for students. Originally the flutes were constructed under the name Nikkan and then this changed to Yamaha shortly afterwards. The Yamaha Yfl-311 flute is the perfect upgrade for students moving off their basic student model. It features a solid silver headjoint, silver plated body and footjoint which gives a lovely warm sound and allows a student a much greater range of tonal colour. It also features closed-holes, offset G and split E that students will already be comfortable with. This is also an excellent intermediate model that will last a lifetime and give a an excellent rounded sound.
This particular flute is offered in fully serviced condition (£90 saving) with superb, hardly played pads and comes ready to play. There are no dents and only light scratches and it plays beautifully with a lovely rich tone. It also comes with cleaning rod.
