Description
MURAMATSU GX SOLID SILVER CLOSED HOLE FLUTE WITH OFFSET G, SPLIT E AND C-FOOTJOINT.
Muramatsu flutes stand in a class of their own and rank among the most sought-after flutes worldwide. Specifically, the Muramatsu GX closed hole flute, being the most popular model in the Muramatsu range, features a solid silver head, body, tube, and plated keys. Consequently, it produces a rich, lush sound while offering a wide range of tonal color. Moreover, the slightly larger embouchure hole makes Muramatsu flutes ideal for wind doublers, thereby facilitating quick transitions between other wind instruments.
This particular flute is offered in beautiful used condition with new pads. It is the closed hole model with offset G, split E mechanism and a C footjoint. We have adjusted the flute and plays it perfectly throughout the registers.
Currently, the retail price for this model with this specification stands at £5,500. While finding a used Muramatsu GXIII solid silver flute can be challenging, it ultimately offers superb value compared to the DS model.
