Description
Pearl Maesta MD-925 Hand-made Flute. Closed Holes, Drawn Tone Holes, Split-E and C-foot.
This model is the flute Pearl Maesta MD-925 handmade flute with Sterling silver and the Vivo cut headjoint. The Maesta series is at the heart of the Pearl handmade flutes and has been the jewel in their crown for many years. Crafted entirely by hand and available with drawn and soldered tone holes, these models are some of the finest example of Pearl’s flute range.
Pearl are well known for their craftsmanship and ingenuity. The foundation of every Pearl flute is a patented Pinless construction, which eliminates the problems of traditional flute construction – protruding needles that snag clothing and give easy entry to perspiration and body acids causing corrosion and binding keys. Besides this unique pinless construction, Pearl flutes have additional bridge mechanisms that add strength to the entire mechanism.
This Pearl Maesta series flute is hand crafted in Sterling silver (.925) throughout. It was constructed approximately 15 years ago and features closed holes with drawn tone holes, offset G, split E and C footjoint. The Vivo cut headjoint gives easily controlled tone, that is both elegant and silky smooth. Condition is superb throughout with very good pads and it has been recently serviced. It comes with the Pearl leather covered hard case and Pearl faux sheepskin lined carrycase.
This model is very sought-after and currently for sale in the shops for around £5,300.
