The Pearl PF-795 RBE Elegante flute is the first of Pearl’s handmade models and is a superb model for advanced students. It has very precise intonation and a brilliant and projecting sound, perfect for any venue size.
Pearl are well known for their craftsmanship and ingenuity. The foundation of every Pearl flute is a patented Pinless construction, which eliminates the problems of traditional flute construction – protruding needles that snag clothing and give easy entry to perspiration and body acids causing corrosion and binding keys. Besides this unique pinless construction, Pearl flutes have additional bridge mechanisms that add strength to the entire mechanism.
This particular Pearl PF-795 REB Elegante model has many useful and sought-after features. It has the benefit of open holes with offset G, split E and a B footjoint with Gizmo key. The headjoint is the ”Brezza” cut is designed to give a crisp, clean rich tone with superb projection. The Brezza headjoint combines the best characteristics from the previous ”Largo” cut & the ”Forza” headjoints and offers a rich, sweet & focused sound. By using a slightly sharper angle on the back of the blowing side of the lip-plate, and a lip-plate drop off that is not as sharp as the Forza, Brezza offers the perfect balance between tonal depth and power. A small addition to the Brezza headjoint is the addition of a heavy crown, which underlines and supports the Brezza cut.
Condition of this flute is excellent with no noticeable marks, other than very light scratches from use, and pads with plenty of life. It has just been serviced recently for sale. It comes with the hardcase which has some marks and the carrycase, which likewise has some signs of wear/use.
