VERNE POWELL SIGNATURE SOLID SILVER OPEN HOLE FLUTE WITH SIGNATURE BOSTON HEADJOINT, E-RING, INLINE G AND B FOOTJOINT IN SUPERB CONDITION THROUGHOUT
Verne Powell first started making flutes in 1927 and the Powell company are world renowned flute makers to this day. Powell’s Handmade Custom flutes have been the ”gold standard” of the flute world for more than 80 years. The Powell Signature solid silver open hole flute is the first of their handmade range and has been celebrated for its flexibility of colour, ease of response and reliability. The Signature model has the traditional pinned mechanism, solid silver throughout with drawn tone holes and French pointed key arms.
This particular flute is offered in excellent condition, fully serviced with Pisoni S2 pads. The S2 pads are harder and flatter and often chosen as an alternative to Straubinger. It also features a fitted e-ring, acting as a split E alternative. The keys are open hole with an inline G and B footjoint.
