The Altus A807 flute boasts a solid silver lip and riser, plus a silver-plated body and mechanism. This design enhances sound quality, offering greater tonal expression. The embouchure provides precision and immediacy, excelling in upper registers and making it ideal for advancing students. There is a lovely richness to the lower registers and the top registers sing easily.
This particular flute has closed holes, an offset G and a C-foot. It is in beautiful condition with no dents and no obvious marks, the silver is polished. The used pads remain in excellent shape, so we did not replace them. We have thoroughly stripped, cleaned, and serviced the mechanism. Additionally, this flute includes an Altus hard case which is has a worn cloth style exterior but is otherwise undamaged.
These are superb upgrade models for students and have an excellent clarity of sound throughout the registers and offer much more control over dynamics. A highly rated instrument!
