The Yamaha Yfl-311 solid silver head flute is the perfect upgrade for students moving off their basic student model. It features a solid silver headjoint, silver plated body and footjoint which gives a lovely warm sound and allows a student a much greater range of tonal colour. It also features closed-holes, offset G and split E that students will already be comfortable with.
For students looking to move up to a flute that will take them through to Grade 8, it is important firstly to benefit from solid silver and the richness of tone it offers. Yamaha have been making flutes since the early 1970’s and remain the most popular make for students.
This particular Yamaha Yfl-311 flute is offered in superb, fully serviced condition (£100 saving) with used pads and comes ready to play. It does not have any dents, minimal marks and comes with a hard case and cleaning rod.
The important aspect of any flute is its mechanics and that it has been maintained and serviced. This flute has been completely stripped down, polished, oiled, adjusted and set up and it plays beautifully. The headjoint cork has also been replaced.
