Description
YAMAHA YFL-472 SOLID SILVER OPEN HOLE FLUTE WITH OFFSET G AND C-FOOT IN IMMACULATE CONDITION.
‘The perfect intermediate upgrade flute’
The Yamaha Yfl-472 solid silver open hole flute is the perfect upgrade flute, it is in fact one of the most recommended Yamaha student flutes. For students looking to move up to a flute that will take them through Grade 8 and beyond, it is important firstly to benefit from solid silver and the richness of tone it offers. This flute features a solid silver headjoint, body and footjoint with silver plated keys, which gives a lovely warm sound and a greater range of tonal colour . It also features open-holes, offset G and split E mechanism. The open holes will be a transition for most students but a relatively easy and important one for the future and helps correct hand posture. You can start with plugging the holes (hole plugs included) and then gradually taking one plug out at a time until the student has got used to the open holes.
This flute has been barely used and so is in immaculate overall condition. It comes with hard and soft case and cleaning rod, ready to play. It is perfect for any student upgrading from a basic student model and wanting something to take them to Grade 8 and beyond. Current retail on the Yamaha Yfl-472 model (Recent version) is £2,100 and so this is a superb price for a flute that is practically new.
